We provide all our clients with a set period of free hosting, care & maintenance. After seeing what we do, clients can choose to continue on one of our care plans or look after the website themselves.
If the website has been well built on a stack I’m familiar with – yes. That’s tech jargon for saying I’d need to have a look at it first.
No. Each website needs its own care plan. They don’t all need to have the same plan though. One site might have the basic plan and the other the best plan.
Yes, we take a quick look at your site to make sure it is still working and looks visually the same. We check this on and for all devices – widescreen, laptop, tablet & Smartphones.
Most update related issues can be fixed in a few minutes. If this happens we will resolve it without additional cost to you. If a fix is likely to take longer and you do not have any additional minutes available on your plan, we will estimate the cost for you, suggest appropriate alternatives or back the update out for you. Some developers experience issues with updates that they fix quickly, and so we will often delay an update if this is likely to be an issue with a particular update, to wait until the issue has been patched. We also always take an extra offsite backup before starting any updates.
The free minutes we include with our care plans are primarily for changes to existing pages, changes to existing functionality, adding or swapping images, adding a new blog article you have written etc. Unless we agree otherwise, they are not for new pages, website redesigns, new functionality, re-development, technical SEO, domain name renewals or the other services we offer. If you are on a monthly plan, you can give me 30 days’ notice if you wish to cancel it. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time.
Yes we do web design, development and SEO work on an ad hoc hourly basis. You can also purchase bulk hours at a discount to our hourly rate.
